Are you struggling to find the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for the gamer in your life? Then we have put together some fun ideas which might just help you pick the perfect gift and help them level up their gaming.
Gaming Headset

If your partner likes to play online be that with friends or strangers then a good gaming headset is a must. Make sure you factor in things like sound, how comfortable they are and if the recipient would rather wired or wireless. Some of the best names to go for include; Audeze Maxwell, SteelSeries Arctis or HyperX Cloud.
Custom Controller
Fancy giving them something which is made just for them? Then how about looking into a custom controller, Xbox offer their own customise service over with Xbox Design Lab, which also offers console wraps. If you are looking for another gaming device then there are a range of websites which allow you to design your controller in your favourite colours and add text.
Gaming Merchandise
If you are looking to buy from someone who has a real love for a certain game then how about checking out what merchandise is available? You might be surprised by the amount on offer, with many franchises offering a whole host of merch from collectable figures to clothing and soft toys.
Gift Cards
While some people aren’t a fan of gift cards, some people find them the best present to receive, after all, they offer them the ability to choose what they want. With most gaming platforms such as Steam, PlayStation and Xbox offering gift cards you could even pop in a note asking them to buy something you could play together for date night.
Lighting For Their Setup

If you want to help set the mood for gaming then how about getting them some lighting for their set-up? From smart bulbs to LED strips and RGB lighting or even a Nanoleaf starter kit, there is something for any gaming set-up.
Gaming Night Date
If you want to plan a whole night, then how about planning a gaming date? This could be a great idea if you don’t have many spare pennies, as you could even use a co-op game you already have, grab some snacks from your kitchen and just kick back and have fun together.
Collector’s Edition
If they would much rather have a physical copy of a game then a special occasion might be the perfect idea to get them a collectors edition of a favourite. These often include exclusive items such as art books, soundtracks and even figurines.
New Out Games
There are a number of games coming out on Valentine’s Day itself this year including; The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak II, Afterlove EP and Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered. With games often being expensive on their release day it could be a nice treat to have one before all the spoilers hit the internet.
Gaming Chair

Gaming chairs have become popular with everyone, and it isn’t really a surprise as they are comfortable, supportive and help posture for anyone using a computer. So why not treat your loved one to their own gaming chair, you could even look for one which is themed to their favourite game or colours.
So why not show the gamer in your life how much you appreciate them and respect their hobbies with a thoughtful gift? Whether it’s tech or a gaming night together, you’ll win their heart all over again.
